A vacancy has arisen for part qualified accountants within the finance department of a major Irish Banking Group. Reporting to the business unit finance manager, this represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to make their career move to financial services, within a highly respected financial institution, offering significant progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



* Support the financial and management reporting for a major business unit
* Preparation of statutory and management accounts for the business unit
* Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
* Maintenance of general ledger
* Control of key accounts including bank and intercompany reconciliation
* Analysis of business unit revenue
* Assist in the continuous review of processes to ensure the provision of management information is timely, efficient and accurate
* Other projects and duties that may arise




Key Requirements



* Graduate, (preferable business) who has commenced or intends commencing ACCA or CIMA
* 1 year accounts experience, preferably within a financial services environment
* Possess excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, Access and GL
* Customer service focused, with the ambition to deliver a premium service
* Ability to meet tight deadlines
* Possess excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Highly accurate, organised and focused
* Quick to learn
* Strong team player, proactive and able to work on own initiative
